Open Airtable links from Slack in the Airtable app
A Airtable link shared in Slack opens in the browser, and you have to click through to get to the app. Alpaca is a free Slack bot that notices Airtable links in your channels and direct messages and replies with a link that opens the bases, tables and views straight in the Airtable desktop app, bypassing the browser.
How it works
Someone posts a Airtable link in Slack:
https://airtable.com/appA1b2C3d4E5f6G7/tblH8i9J0k1L2m3N4Alpaca replies with:airtable://airtable.com/appA1b2C3d4E5f6G7/tblH8i9J0k1L2m3N4Click the reply (if your workspace allows it) or copy it to the clipboard and paste it into the address bar: the Airtable desktop app opens directly. The Airtable app must be installed on your computer.
